How To Get an Appointment

If you have never been seen by us before, it is best to have your Primary Care Provider (PCP) place a consult for you to be scheduled with us. This will allow an opportunity to discuss your cardiac concerns with your PCP so that your entire treatment team is aware of all your health concerns.

If you are established with our clinics and have been seen within the past 2 years, you can call our front desk staff at (813)972-2000 ext 4581 or 5657. We know our phone lines are very busy and we are working hard on a solution to make it easier to get through.

What to Bring with You to Clinic

Any records pertaining to cardiology services provided outside the VA:
  • Echo Reports, Stress Test Results, Cardiac Cath Reports, Surgical Operative Reports
A list of medications you take including non-VA medications is always helpful to reconcile which ones you should be taking and which you may not need.

If you are coming for Stress Testing

Wear comfortable athletic clothing and shoes for walking. Most of our stress tests require you to be fasting for at least 6 hours the day of your test. Instructions will be sent to you in the mail.
