 Our Fisher House is located next to James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital and was dedicated on Aug. 6, 2007. It is a “home away from home” for families of acutely hospitalized veterans and active-duty service members who live more than 50 miles away from JAHVH.
The Fisher House has a kitchen and laundry facilities. Guests must be able to take care of their own personal needs, and are responsible for maintaining their own rooms and keeping the common areas clean. There is no maid service.
The Fisher House has 21 suites available, and a maximum occupancy of three people per suite. “Pack and Play” style cribs are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
